Happy memories - Hin e tonico!!!!!!!!

We have so many wonderful stories and memories to share that I could sit and write all day long! I have two cherished memories of the last year that I will hold tight always. First is a day in Dunham Massey Park in Manchester with Mum and John last summer during the heatwave. We sat on our colourful Mexican blanket with a picnic feast in the blazing sunshine (John + food = pure happiness!!!) sat by a big fish pond. We walked, we sunbathed, we ate and laughed. It really was a perfect afternoon then went home for a lovely evening meal with Conor. Special times. Secondly, was last September - I only spoke with John about this night last Sunday, the morning before he passed away. Three words = Gin and Tonic!!! Mum, Conor, John and I shared in a bottle or two (possibly 3!) of gin and oh how we laughed! John in his wisdom thought if he got Conor drunk he could get Conor's top golfing tips put of him to beat him at golf...what he didn't think was that he was also getting drunk and giving all his tips away too! We were all suitably oiled and then John took Taff out for a walk and the fresh air hit...and he was sozzled! Later John fell into the bath and couldn't get out in his drunken state!!!!!! The next morning hurt...especially for John who was supposed to be at Spanish language class...needless to say he didn't make it!!!!!!! So John - 'iechyd da' - a big cheers to you with a gin and tonic (hin e tonico) from Conor and I - a family man who will be loved by all his family wherever we are in the world always xxxxxx
